When Blogger adds double line breaks

October 26th, 2006 - posted by Mark

NOTE: Have added an option to solve this problem, please read; Fixed Blogger Double Returns (line breaks) Issue
Within your Blogger ‘Dashboard’ settings
make sure convert line breaks formatting is set to No.
This will prevent double returns being added by Blogger to post entries created using WriteToMyBlog.

This setting can be found at: Your Blogger Dashboard -> Settings Tab
-> Formatting Sub Menu -> Convert line breaks -> No.

I like the new version but this double spacing issue is causing me some grief. It seems like when I disable it, WriteToMyBlog sourced stuff works great, but my old Blogger sourced stuff gets to look dreadful. Anyhow, I have blogged about this:

Otherwise, looks great. If this issue gets sorted I’ll take another look.

    Hello,
i still have that problem. No Fix ?

generally, you just need to output that HTML unformatted, without linebreaks. That’s all.

    Bye
